Bharat ko Janiye (BKJ aka Know India) Quiz

Government of India will be organizing the 5th Edition of the Bharat Ko Janiye (BKJ aka Know India) Quiz 2024-25 from November 11 to December 10, 2024. The Bharat Ko Janiye quiz is conducted to motivate overseas Indian and foreign youth to enhance their knowledge about India and to awaken the curiosity of the new generation to know more about India so that they develop an all-round understanding of India.

The BKJ Quiz will be held online for two categories of “PIO/Foreigners” and “NRI” aged between 14 to 50 years. Registration on the Portal is mandatory by eligible contestants with no entry fee. The Quiz will be a single round online quiz containing 30 multiple choice objective types questions to be answered in maximum of 16-17 minutes.

The Top 15 Winners in each category (total 30) will be given opportunity to visit India on a 2-week long BKJ (Know India) Yatra, starting with their participation in Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas (PBD) celebration. The highlights of the Quiz are:-

  • Eligibility: Open to “PIO/Foreigners” and “NRI” aged 14-50 years.
  • Categories: Separate categories for NRIs and PIOs/Foreigners.
  • Quotation: 30 questions (text/image/audio/video) with unlimited attempts. Best       score will be counted.
  • Duration of a quiz attempt: 16-17 minutes.

Important dates:

  • 4 November, 2024 – Registration opens via website & mobile apps.
  • 4 November, 2024 – Launch of the 10-question Dummy quiz for practice.
  • 11 November, 2024 – 10 December, 2024 – Official Quiz period.

Prize & Rewards:

  • Participation certificate – Digital certificate of participation to all, Physical certificates to top performers.
  • Grand Prize: Top 15 winners in each category (30 total) will embark on a  two-week BKJ Yatra (Know India), with the chance to participate in the Pravasi       Bharatiya Diwas (PBD) celebration! Upto 2 winners in each category from one country (maximum 4 winners from a country).
